28/06/2002 - Entry #6

Update: As suspected, it's the end of an era. Not since the Blitz has a nation mourned so emotionally. It's going to be hard coming to terms with our loss, but there's light at the end of the tunnel! Fear not, for the beautiful and fantastic Sophie will be on Big Brother's Little Brother on E4 every day this week. In the meantime, I'm going to pay tribute to the foxiest girl ever to appear on Big Brother, and a worthy paradigm for everything desirable in a woman. Pray silence please, for Sophie.

How anyone can not adore her is beyond me. She was so elegant and delicate, yet down-to-earth and...homely. I have wonderful taste, scum.. Sophie wasn't some chiseled cheek-bone 'perfect' super model kind of girl, and I LIKE that about her. That's my type.

Update: Meh. So the guestbook is fixed now. And it doesn't require the E-mail field to be filled in, so you'd better be bloody happy. You're still all scum though. Never satisfied, and all you do is complain. Bah.

----------------------------

Yes, so the guestbook doesn't work anymore, and I don't know how to fix it. Not that you'll care because you're ALL SCUM who don't even sign it anyway! Ohh, it's all "make your opus make your opus" when you're bored, but then you just walk off! SCUM! Some of you have NEVER signed. Utter scum, all of you. You sicken me.

This is an all-round terrible day. Bad news seems to be bombarding me from all sides.

First, David O'Leary has quit Leeds! He CAN'T! This just isn't fair. The fans adore Big Dave, and we always will. He's an absolute hero. Why is he quitting? Sure, he's been very forthcoming with the club coffers, but that doesn't warrant a sacking! Surely there's a way to claw back some of the money he's spent? This is just all terrible. Lee Bowyer is transfer listed, David O'Leary has left, and Manchester United have made a £35 million offer for Rio Ferdinand after he did so well in the World Cup. The whole team is collapsing! This is all wrong wrong wrong. I'm scared of the changes that might come about. I mean, it's not like we were winning much, but we were certainly a good team. I'm worried that we'll start slipping down the rankings, as usually happens when a team starts selling off its best players and sacking their manager. I suppose it's possible we'll get a new manager and start doing fantastically well? Gotta think positively. :(

Apparently Mick McCarthy and Martin O'Neil are the two favourites to take over. Those ties with the Irish still going strong, then. Trouble is, I don't even LIKE Martin O'Neil. I mean, he's done very well managing Celtic, but he's such a complete cock.

Also, John Entwistle has died. :( He's been one of my favourite bassists for years now. He was one of the biggest influences that led to me taking up the bass in the first place. I love the Who, and always really admired John. It's a shame. :\

Thirdly, it's Big Brother eviction night, and Sophie is up against Jonny. I doubt that she's going to win, to be honest, which means there'll be virtually no reason to watch the programme after tonight. The only positive aspect of the whole thing is that STATISTICALLY SPEAKING it's now infinitesimally more likely that Sophie and I will fall in love and live happily ever after in a castle made of chocolate and raise puppies together. You're all invited to the wedding, naturally. YOU SCUM!
